“The Story of Mural” – When Father Was Away – 30th anniversary of winning Golden Palm prize at the Cannes Film Festival

Emir Kusturica’s film “When Father Was Away” was the winner of the award for the Best Film at the 1985 Cannes Film Festival and Academy Award nominee for Best Foreign Film.
Leading roles: Moreno D’E Bartolli, Miki Manojlovic, Mirjana Karanovic, Mustafa Nadarevic, and Mira Furlan.

At the initative of St. Sava Youth Community from Zvornik, this project keeps the memory of making this film in Zvornik alive till this day, and it also celebrates 30 years since receiving the prestigious film award at Cannes.
